GROWiT Raises $3 Million Series A to Fuel Agritech Expansion

Surat – May 28, 2025: Protective farming startup GROWiT India has raised $3 million in a Series A round led by GVFL, with participation from Veloce Opportunities Fund, JITO, We Founder Circle, Sunicon Ventures, Progrowth Ventures, and Hyderabad Angels.

The funds will support GROWiT’s expansion, enhance R&D capabilities, and strengthen tech infrastructure as it scales across India and explores new markets in Africa and other emerging regions.

Founded in Surat, GROWiT provides sustainable, affordable agritech solutions, including India’s first pocket-friendly soil testing device launched in April 2025. The company has reached over 2.25 lakh farmers across 12 states, supported by a 650+ franchise network, and has grown at a 50–60% CAGR over the past three years.

GVFL’s Mihir Joshi highlighted GROWiT’s role in making climate-resilient farming accessible. CEO Saurabh Agarwal emphasized the startup’s mission to transform Indian agriculture through tech-driven, cost-effective solutions aimed at boosting yield and cutting input costs.

With India’s agritech market projected to hit $30–35 billion by 2027, GROWiT is poised to be a key enabler in the sector’s modernization.
