January 21 2025: Reliance Power Ltd. today announced the appointment of Shri Neeraj Parakh as its new Chief Executive Officer. With nearly three decades of professional experience, including over 20 years with the Reliance Group, Shri Parakh brings exceptional expertise and leadership to this pivotal role.
Since joining the Reliance Group in 2004, Shri Parakh has been instrumental in delivering landmark projects such as Yamuna Nagar, Hisar, Rosa, Sasan, and various renewable energy initiatives, contributing over 10 GW of power generation at a capital expenditure of ₹50,000 crore.
An engineering graduate from YCCE Nagpur and an MBA from Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai, Shri Parakh has excelled in diverse roles spanning technology, operations, procurement, taxation, and regulatory compliance. His leadership has driven operational efficiency, vendor localization, and sustainable practices, significantly enhancing the organization’s self-reliance and long-term growth.
Known for his collaborative leadership style, Shri Parakh has consistently built strong relationships with stakeholders while fostering innovation and excellence across the Reliance Power portfolio.
