Snap Inc. is set to kick off its first AR Roadshow in India, marking a significant milestone in its efforts to engage with the rapidly growing augmented reality (AR) developer community. India is one of the world’s most active AR market, with over 80% of Snapchatters using AR lenses daily[1] and monthly AR interactions exceeding 50 billion Lens plays[2].
Taking place from November 20th to 22nd, the multi-city AR Roadshow will take place in Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai. The events are hosted by top creators and developers from Snap Lens Network offering hands-on sessions to help developers hone their skills in AR creation using Snap’s Lens Studio, specifically geared towards engaging the Indian audience.
Here’s what attendees can expect:
- Expert-led Training: Snap Inc. specialists, along with India’s Top SLN creators, developers and partners, will lead workshops on advanced AR techniques and best practices for creating immersive experiences.
- Lens Studio Insights: Participants will learn to harness new features in Lens Studio that enhance creativity and customization.
- Brand Partnership Opportunities: Guidance on using AR to help brands and businesses drive meaningful engagement with consumers.
- Networking and Collaboration: An opportunity for developers to connect, exchange ideas, and collaborate on projects that push the boundaries of AR in India.
A lineup of Snap Inc. experts, including Joe Darko (Global Head of AR Developer Relations), and Srivatsan Jayasankar (Head of AR and Partnerships), will lead the sessions.
